How Discount Codes Work Last year I started to look into the way in which discount codes worked. They were something that I had noticed cropping up online, but I was unsure what they were all about. For starters, it was confusing that they seemed to be known by different names. It soon became clear that a discount code was exactly the same as a discount voucher. That, in turn, was no different to a promotional code. All of these terms were talking about the same concept. The basic principle is fairly simple - retailers offer free discount codes to members of the public. This isn't done out of the kindness of their heart - it's done to encourage you to shop with them. If you want to track down a voucher code then you simply need to find a directory site that lists them all. You then select the voucher that you're interested in and enter it at the retailer's online checkout, when prompted to do so. A simple technique, but one that can help to save us money.
